The Story of Calla Wild
REBIRTH | REAWAKEN | GET BACK TO NATURE
Hello! My name is Stephani Lipford, and I’ve been the owner of a top local professional organizing company, A Peaceful Home, here in Tallahassee for over a decade. Through the years, I’ve seen and learned a lot – about myself and my clients. We all have clutter in various areas of our lives, but I believe the extra clutter that comes with modern living weighs heavy on us, keeping us stuck and blocking us from showing up as our most authentic selves.
It’s hard to clear clutter, stay organized, and be on top of life when we are not our healthiest. And it’s challenging to achieve our health goals when our spaces feel overrun. You see, it’s a vicious cycle. Forget about having a moment to tune in to our emotional, mental, and spiritual needs. Not only does physical clutter in our spaces cause overwhelm, demands from the digital world stream in non-stop, and digital photos and computer files build up out of sight yet add to the noise. Then there are well-intended books stacked up on shelves and Pinterest board ideas for more stuff to do, and years of items on our to-do lists never get done. Then there's that new morning routine we want to start and the constant internal and external demands for keeping our homes perfect. On and on it goes.
I burned myself out a few years ago. I was working non-stop and keeping all the fires going. Slowly, without even realizing it, I was paying less and less attention to myself and my needs. Then the day came, I didn’t recognize who I had become. I kept physical clutter from my space, yet I allowed other things to clutter my time and thoughts. I was trying to do all the routines, schedules, and well-intended recommendations. I was filling my day with social media and continually crafting the “perfect” habits – yet not doing them. I no longer did things intuitively like choosing foods, self-care habits, and resting when I needed it. It’s like I was running on auto-pilot to someone else’s operation manual.
In 2017, I was over-stressed, too busy, and lost touch with myself and my health. The same year, I had exposure to toxic mold, chemicals in hair dye, antibiotics, and a stomach bug. It was a perfect storm. Living stressed and out of balance wore my body down, and my liver was unable to handle the increased toxic load causing bloating/puffiness and a myriad of other problems. Luckily, I knew how to put myself back on a path to better health, bring my mind and body into balance, and recover. Lucky, yes. Easy, no.
Feeling completely unbalanced in every sense of the word, I sought professionals, healers, nutritionists, and coaches to help me return to myself. Over the last few years, I have worked intensely to reclaim wellness, improve my ability to listen to myself, and discover the stuff that has been distracting me and standing in my way.
Today, I have restored my digestive system, calmed my nervous system from anxiety, and gently detoxified. With a happy immune system (instead of being over-reactive), I listen to my body’s needs and feel like myself again (after 3+ years of feeling alien in my own body).
This is why I started Calla Wild – it’s a service I want to offer to you to realign your life, find your optimal wellness again, and empower you to remove ALL the clutter and distraction from your life. Calla Wild got its name from the calla lily, which means reawakening, rebirth, and new beginnings. Wild is for tapping back into our natural rhythms, immersing ourselves more in nature, and realizing we are part of the natural world. My passion for creating optimal health and helping others heal various elements of themselves has always been a part of who I am, and I’ll be adding more health-giving services soon.
Sometimes life gives you a point where you can begin again with a clear vision, a better perspective, and step out of a life that no longer fits. I want to help you experience incredible changes and deepen your relationship with yourself. As healthier, balanced, and more revitalized people, we are better capable of sharing our gifts with the world. Will you join me?
